Also relating to the recent thread on tools, I have been involved in an
upcoming web security special edition of the IEEE Security and Privacy
magazine. My article (again with my great partner in crime Rudy) is an
overview of security testing tools. The article talks about the types of
tools available, what can be effective and makes broad recommendations of
when to use certain types of tools. I understand its coming out pretty soon
(July / August predication date) but I don't yet have a firm date.
