- Gattaca: Good sf-movie: Where a guy needs to decieve the authorities
by using false contactlenzes, blood and urine.
- The assassin: Where she blows -up a pc with a disk (kewl)
- Any "many" episode of star trek voyager. This must be one of the
easyest starships to hack into. And Tovak (the volcan keeps having to
update the security protocols)
- Freedom downtime: Haven't seen this movie but it is" a feature lenght
documentary about the free Kevin movement and the hacker world"
- Computer chronicles:
http://www.archive.org/movies/computerchronicles.php. This is / was a
famouse computer television show.
You can download all sorts of computerrelated episodes. (and in
different kinds of quality) ;-)
- Hackers Computer outlaw: a documentary about and with wozniak, captain
chruch and Kevin Mitnick
It shows the evolution of computerhackers
- In the realm of the hackers: an other documentary about to the
australien hacking scene.
A very good documentary.

I'm writing a tutorial/courseware on security (both basic topics and
programming) and I'm looking for clips from movies or tv to introduce
subjects - I've found that videos work well with introductions and short
breaks to getting the audience in the right frame of mind (as well as
getting them relaxed). So far I have the following....
Jurassic Park - insider threat (the programmer gets the system to bypass
security while he steals the DNA/embryos)
Sneakers - Cryptography (when the team discovers it's a crypto box they
have)
The Net - Personally identifiable information (main characters personal
information is deleted)
War Games - [Not sure yet, not managed to pickup the film]
Hackers - [Not sure yet, not managed to pickup the film]
Any other suggestions? I'm only wanting short (5min) sections, but I'm
willing to edit bit's out if needed.
