Just the words that I was looking for. I knew that either I was seriously misinterpreting the download directions or there was something wrong. I've been putting off releasing the next version of EasyIDS until the registered rules were available as well and was beginning to wonder if that was going to ever happen. Thanks for all the replies. ___________________________________________ Date: Wed, 6 Feb 2008 11:04:09 -0500 From: Nigel Houghton <nigel@sourcefire.com> Subject: Re: [Snort-users] Snort Rules Availability To: Snort Users <snort-users@lists.sourceforge.net> Message-ID: <20080206160408.GA16918@sourcefire.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii On 0, CoryC <oakleeman@yahoo.com> wrote:
I have a question about rule availability. The
current
version of Snort available for download is 2.8.0.1
and
there is a version 2.8 ruleset available for subscribers but only a version 2.7 ruleset available for registered users.
Page was not updating with the 2.8 ruleset. The problem is now corrected, sorry.
