Ok, so reconfigured and compiled specifying --enable-react

./configure --enable-gre --enable-aruba --enable-react

Still getting the same error

Jun 25 15:56:14 monitor snort[29982]: FATAL ERROR: local.rules(8):
SnortSnprintf failed

Any other suggestions?

If you do a ./configure --help you will see a separate
and distinct --enable-react. Flexible response2 has
nothing to do with react.
