I think you could try any broadcom or intel server cards. Intel has a 2 port server card that is quite good. However you will need to use NAPI (turned on in RHEL or Centos) and some memory mapped mechanism like pfring.

Hi all, I'm looking into getting some High Capacity NIC's fo a snort box that will need to monitor allot of traffic on a Gig connection. Does anyone on the list have any experiance with these typs of NIC's, suggestions etc.... any info would be a big help.
Also do any of these typs of NIC's use native GNU/Linux-2.6 drivers?
