[Snort-users] snort 2.6.1.2 segfaults on 64bit Centos 4.2 system

Subject: [Snort-users] snort 2.6.1.2 segfaults on 64bit Centos 4.2 system

I am running snort 2.6.1.2 on a centos 4.2 system (redhat clone). Version
2.4.3 runs beautifully, new version runs for a few secs-mins, then
segfaults. No explanation given by the program. I tried compiling it with
the --with-mysql option, no other options enabled. The system in question
is a 64bit system, as well. Any ideas?

I didn't include the snort.conf because of length, but will provide one upon
request.
