Just a quick note to announce that our snort-based Strata Guard Free,
freeware IDS/IPS, is now available to run as a VMware virtual appliance for
Linux. You can download it at http://www.stillsecure.org

As usual we appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

I couldn't find the source for this anywhere. Doesn't the GPL license,
which I believe Snort is assigned, require the source of the application
built upon it be available as well? I haven't used your product, so I
don't know if it has custom code or if it is just a collection of open
source software sold to the unmotivated (your non-free version)? I'm
mean no harm, just curious. It seems nice - I'd like to try it, I just
want to know what I'm installing.
