Try "make uninstall" and "make distclean" before you ./configure
--with-mysql again.

Okay I did all that and reran './configure --with-mysql' and everything
seemed to go fine. (I saved the output if needed.) But when I ran 'make'
I got some errors.

[root@box ~/downloads/snort-2.4.0]# make > output.make
spo_alert_syslog.c: In function `AlertSyslog':
spo_alert_syslog.c:603: error: `NULL0' undeclared (first use in this
function)
spo_alert_syslog.c:603: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported
only once
spo_alert_syslog.c:603: error: for each function it appears in.)
make[3]: *** [spo_alert_syslog.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

What does this mean?

Thanks,
Chris.
