If you want to filter out one host, then you make the var:
var HOMENETFORRULE1234ONLY [x.x.x.x/32]
Thanks PaulM.
That could be a solution while I hope to have something like ![IP=155.200.2.10,!$HOME_NET] I have tried my above expression in a rule but it just give me a fatal error. where HOME_NET= [155.200.2.0/24,155.200.3.0/24]
My purpose is to filter out a particular type of false positives alerts created by a host (its cron job generated the alert) but I do not want to ignore all this type of alert.

What's the ultimate goal? You have a rule that you want to fire if the destination (or source) is $HOME_NET, except for the one host?
One solution might be to create a custom variable in snort.conf, like:
var HOMENETFORRULE1234ONLY [155.200.2.4/30,155.200.2.8/32,155.200.2.9/32,\ 155.200.2.11/32,155.200.2.12/32,155.200.2.13/32,155.200.2.14/32,155.200. 2.15 /32,\ 155.200.2.16/28,155.200.2.32/27,155.200.2.64/26,155.200.2.128/25,155.200 .3.0 /24]
Then edit the rule(s) in question and replace $HOME_NET with $HOMENETFORRULE1234ONLY. There may be a better way of doing this within the flow syntax of an individual rule, but I'm not aware of how to do this.
If all you want to do is ignore a specific alert for a specific host, though, this is probably better handled through the software that is responsible for analysis/alerting for your Snort instance.

Hello
Suppose I have the variable HOME_NET= [155.200.2.0/24,155.200.3.0/24] and I would like o specify in a rule to specify the host of HOME_NET exclude the IP=155.200.2.10 Anyone knows the expression using the $HOME_NET and the above IP? Thanks
