If you are looking for a cheap hub solution... You also might want to try
the Dell PowerConnect 2708. It is a 8 port gigabit switch that allows you to
port mirror 4 ports and it only cost $99. not bad. Take a look at it here:

Self correction: that's the FS726T.. the FSM would work too, 
but costs more. The
FS series is what I'd call a "semi-managed" switch, with

features and web-interface-only management.

The FSM supports telnet and serial login, as well as a 
broader range of
management features more typical of a managed switch. But it 
costs a bit more at

Both support port mirroring, which is what you need.
