[Snort-users] Problems with socket

Hey, now i can use /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock!
I just add this settings to /etc/my.cnf
[mysqld]
datadir=/var/lib/mysql
socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
port = 3306     

[client]
port    = 3306
socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

[mysql.server]
user=mysql
basedir=/usr/local/mysql/data/
socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock


[safe_mysqld]
err-log=/var/log/mysqld.log
pid-file=/var/run/mysqld.pid
socket=/var/lib/mysql.sock
port =3306

#find / -name mysql.sock -xdev
/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

I can connect to mysql BUT acid and other can`t connect to database :(((((
Again they told me that thay can`t use /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
May be i mistake with privileges or what???
