Shouldn't be anything wrong with FreeBSD 5.3. I run it on 5.2 no problems...go with the best, stick with FreeBSD! Cheese! No OS Holy Wars please! I just wanted to ask if anyone is running snort on Gentoo boxes and what your experiences are...good and bad. I currently run a few FreeBSD 4.10 IDSs, however I can't run FreeBSD 5.3 because of some kernel stability issues. I need to start planning ahead in case I have to switch OSs. Any tips/help would be appreciated. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
