Re: [Snort-users] Newbie Question -- Problem with snort-mysql install on debian

i have created a database snort_log
and a root user to access it with a password.
i ahve a few questions
what does this command do?
mysql>source create_mysql

anyway apart from this when i try to execute follwoing
commands on the database ,i get the response as
query ok ,0 rows affected (0.02sec)

am i doing someting wrong??could u help me how to take
on from here


mysql> grant CREATE, INSERT, SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE on
snort_log.* to snort;
mysql> grant CREATE, INSERT, SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE on
snort_log.* to snort@localhost;
mysql> grant CREATE, INSERT, SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE on
snort_log.* to acid;
mysql> grant CREATE, INSERT, SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE on
snort_log.* to acid@localhost;
