Synopsis:
The Sourcefire VRT is aware of a vulnerability in Computer Associates 
BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Laptops and Desktops.

Details:
Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve buffer overflow
(CVE-2007-5003):
Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve Backup contains multiple errors that 
may allow a remote attacker to cause a buffer overflow condition to occur. The 
attacker may be presented with the opportunity to execute code on an affected 
host.

A rule to detect attacks targeting this vulnerability is included in this 
release and is identified as SID 12596.
