Couple of things I keep in my local.rules file on a few sensors. Not
sure if its correct to be sending pass rules to the list but thought I'd
share. Oh, and I'm sure someone out there can do a better job...

pass tcp any any -> any 25
(content:"Maildir";content:"uid=501";content:"gid=501";content:"Sorry";)

pass tcp any any -> any 25 (content:"Maildir";content:"Cannot
write";content:"gid=0";)

They get around the problem that SID: 1882 - "ATTACK-RESPONSES id check
returned userid" fires a lot on SMTP traffic due to replies from I think
its qmail.
