| Subject: | % expected loss reduction from the implementation of safeguards |

Hi all, I've been searching for actual figures of % reductions in security incident-related losses derived from the implementation of safeguards with no luck. There are many models around, many discussions and lots of "illustrative data" but no real-life numbers. Does anyone have this kind of information? I4m aware of the fact that reductions depend on many factors, and that these numbers won4t be precise...but I thought It would be great to have at least a couple of examples to estimate upon. I'm specifically interested in examples of incident reductions after the implementation of strategic initiatives, such as a security policy and organization, or after an awareness plan, etc.
