I am told that these e-mail "disclaimers" are totally useless. Does
anyone know of a case where this actually helped someone in a legal
sense? I would think that it actually weakens any *real* policy an
institution has to protect its data.

        Subject: 3rd party email disclaimer

        Hello all,

We have an application that is hosted on a 3rd party provider
and we would like to inform our users that the emails they receive are
not from our servers but from the 3rd party provider. This is required
for legal reasons.

I couldn't find any good ressources online and I was wondering
if anyone had a similar experience and if they had examples to share.
Most disclaimers deal with the fact that a sender is emailing a customer
and that this email is confidential, etc.

I was also wondering if it would be a good idea to include this
fact in the customer's contract?

        Any comments? Thanks in advance.

        Neksus
