:) As someone who runs a fairly large IT Security Outsourcing practice...

There are some key things to consider when outsourcing IT Security:-

1. how much? do you want to outsource the operations, the design/advisory, the risk management, the compliance?
2. Try as you might - you cannot outsource the business risk - you can transfer it though
3. if you plan to keep a core team in-house and outsource the rest - make sure there are VERY clean roles and responsibilities - its the biggest cause of pain for my clients
