Dora, Don't have any specific suggestions but couple sources I've used for other things might help or at least point you to some place useful. One place for Germany is the Federal Office for Information Security. There site is in both English and Germany. Go to this link http://www.bsi.bund.de/english/index.htm and do a search on privacy. For UK try the Information Commissioner's Office, link is http://www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk/eventual.aspx?id=35 Another possible starting point is the European Union Data Protection site. Link is http://europa.eu.int/comm/internal_market/privacy/index_en.htm Also a book called A Guide to European Data Protection and Privacy Laws for U.S. Companies. Latest edition appears to be couple years old, is published by or through the Computer Law Association. Link is http://www.cla.org/pubsforsale.htm -bruce Bruce E. 12:04 PM >>> Hello everyone, I am not quite sure that this is the exactly right mail list to post to but even a guidance on other mail lists that can help me will be appreciated. We are a US-based company, aggressively expanding business in Europe. I am looking for good resources (preferably, with well-summarized information) on EU data privacy laws and any specific such laws applying to Great Britain and Germany. Thank you! Dora Mandadjiev IT Security and Compliance, Sr. Manager LNR Property, Inc.
