Having spent last week at the ISACA Information Security Management Conference in Vegas, I am interested in touching base with security professionals from other organizations that are working to use COBIT as the primary framework for their security programs. I am actually using COBIT (QuickStart Initially) alongside ISO 17799 (primarily for policy development), ITIL, CMM, NIST, etc. in order to cover all of the bases... I know that there is a COBIT Users Group conference coming up in November in Chicago - any relationships that I can put in place between now and then would make the time spent at that conference all that more valuable. So anyone else out there working with COBIT for this purpose? I'd love to learn more about your direction and challenges...
