Evaluating and Justifying Return On Security Investments

I am postgraduate student currently completing my Masters Degree in
Corporate Risk and Security Management at the University of Southampton, UK.
 In order to fulfil the requirements of my MSc, I am currently working on my
dissertation with Information Security as my field of research.
Specifically, I am studying how companies evaluate and justify their return
on security investments, and what are the considerations given when
 it comes to information security spending.
It would be very helpful if I could get some feedback on this subject
matter. I have created a short list of questionnaires; which will only take
approximately 5 minutes to fill. The results and analysis of this survey
will be sent to you if your E-mail/contact details are provided.
