The Role
The Programme Manager (Security & Compliance) is responsible for the planning
and execution of assigned pan-EMEA programmes and projects associated with
Client Implementations (within prescribed thresholds of size, scope and
complexity), Process Improvement, Security & Compliance, and Facility
deployments.
The Programme Manager is responsible for delivery of all programmes and
projects within defined time, cost and quality requirements
Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring application of the PMO methodology and best practice
To be a SME across one or more of our core delivery areas of BPO, Security &
Compliance, Facilities and our internal functions (Finance, HR, L&D and Legal)
Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, that all projects have
cost, quality and timescale defined objectives and are managed in accordance
with those objectives
Review and develop project documentation to meet changing business requirements
Programme level risk, issue and dependency management
Programme level status reporting
Actively support sales activity working with prospective clients and internal
representatives
Effective client interaction
Project & Programme Management
Working across culturally diverse environments
To take shared responsibility for your own personal development and performance
in order to maximise your contribution to the business and your satisfaction in
the role
To support the continuous improvement and evolution of Active Project Management
To support the FSM function in coaching and training of the business in project
management disciplines
To support and coach senior project managers
To drive the activity of senior project managers when they are assigned as part
of your programme
Compliance:
Understand and comply with all company and client security requirements
project management tools, methodology and reporting including the following
PCI DSS
ISO 27001
BS 25999
DPA
SOX
FSA.
Typical Qualifications
Education :
Ideally Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Prince 2, PMI certified or equivalent
Experience Target:
At least 10 years of business experience, to include: 5 years of large scale
programme and project management
Business experience in multiple European countries
At least 5 years experience in BPO or client service organisation
Skills:
Ability to manage matrix teams towards the delivery of project objectives
Good knowledge and ability to apply one or more project financial appraisal
tools (CBA, NPV, payback method, IRR)
Good knowledge and ability to assess project feasibility and produce project
plans using critical path analysis methods
Ability to define critical success factors (CSFs) for project quality management
Excellent knowledge of RAID management and ability to use appropriate tools to
effectively manage project RAID
Ability to produce effective executive board status reporting
Ability to present and communicate up to executive level
Good understanding of change control and the ability to baseline business
delivery criteria and apply appropriate change control methods
Financial Awareness – ability to prepare project budgets, perform variance
analysis and develop ROI analyses for capital investments
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and ability to
influence
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Project and Office
Manage multiple priorities and multi-stakeholder environments
Knowledge/Abilities:
Multi-lingual an advantage but not essential
Fluent in written and spoken English
Ability to lead and motivate a matrix team
Knowledge of contact centre environment and BPO
SME (or developing SME) in one of our aforementioned core business areas
Ability to work across culturally diverse environments
Awareness of contact centre technology solutions
Desire to drive project delivery, value add, high energy, goal orientated
Travel Required :
EMEA travel required approximately 8 days per month
