The Role
To deliver in-depth analysis and reports for the Head of Information Security
Management on a wide range of PKI related projects
To ensure that the requirements of the business are met through the consistent
application of security design principles
To provide security input to the development of business strategy
To provide intelligence and manage mitigation of information security risks in
support of business objectives
To provide advice and share best business practice in support business
objectives
To assist the business in the identification of key business risks
Key capabilities
Knowledge:
This role requires:
An in depth knowledge of PKI, its application, standards and Certificate
Policies and Practice
Knowledge of legal and liability issues with reference to IS027001, PCI-DSS
Working knowledge of
Operating Systems
Networking
Firewalls
Encryption
Oracle
IDS
Excellent understanding of network/web security issues
Knowledge of payment systems
Experience of developing policies
Knowledge of developments in security technology and their application
Experience of risk identification and defining practical solutions for
management
Experience of developing robust procedures
Skills:
Strong Analytical and IT skills
Problem solving
Good Communication skills and relationship building
Is able to obtain buy-in to ideas from peers and senior management

Experience Required
PKI Practitioner with 4 – 5 years of experience within Financial
Services/Banking/Consultancy
Experience of risk identification and defining practical solutions for
management
Educational qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in an IT or IT security-related profession or
4 years of practical Information Security-related experience
Formal 3rd Party Qualifications e.g. CNE, MCSE
Professional Qualifications e.g. CISSP
* This is a contract role, however, positive consideration will be given to
candidates considering a contract to permanent conversion.
