Position: Product Strategist
Location: Redmond, Washington, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Security threats to Microsoft’s customers continue to evolve. Script
kiddies releasing worms on the internet no longer exist. Replacing them are
determined criminal enterprises looking to inflict real damage by taking down
government infrastructures or stealing credit card numbers and your identify.
To stay ahead of the bad guys we’re looking for bright and motivated
engineers to help us eliminate security vulnerabilities in Microsoft products
before they ship. Cutting edge work is required as we constantly evolve to stay
ahead of new security threats. On a daily basis, you’ll work with security
researchers inside and outside of the company to build countermeasures to the
latest security vulnerabilities. You’ll sleep well at night knowing that
you protected Microsoft’s customers from potential attacks.
If you are looking to work on a diverse set of projects where creativity and
passion for protecting customers is a must, the SWI Tools team is interested in
talking to you. Our ideal candidate loves cross product collaboration and
shipping complex products. In addition to driving the engineering efforts
within our organization, a successful candidate will have a high degree of
visibility working with the major product teams across all Microsoft.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications for this challenge include:
• Passion for security
• At least 3-5 years of PM or related experiences
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
• Customer empathy and focus
• Strategic thinking and killer design skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication (including presentation
skills)
• Experience shipping software products
Preferred candidates will have experience in the software security domain.
