Corporation’s acquisitions of RSA Security and Network Intelligence.
Summary
RSA’s Commercial Sales team is seeking a District Manager for the Central
Region. The manager will oversee a field sales team responsible for the sales
of all RSA products and associated Professional Services in the region.
Nature and Scope of Work:
Manager is responsible for the combined performance of the team and for
ensuring full team participation in meeting sales targets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
Successful candidates will have at least 6 years software sales experience in a
high tech environment, and at least 3 years in a direct sales management role
managing a minimum of 5 direct field sales reps. Candidates must have a
demonstrated track record of quantifiable success as judged by W2 statements.
Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess excellent written and oral
skills.
Additional requirements include:
•Proven ability to learn and apply technical product knowledge in a sales
and training setting
•History of leading and motivating sales teams.
•Willingness and ability to travel overnight multiple times per week
•Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a complex, high
transaction business
•Understanding of relevant market trends and opportunities
•Excellent and proven presentation and negotiation skills
Specific responsibilities include:
•recruiting and training sales staff;
•supervising, motivating and monitoring team performance;
•setting, tracking and meeting quotas;
•accurately forecasting to senior sales management;
•networking with other sales managers;
•building relationships with customers;
•negotiating license agreements and pricing;
•co-developing account strategies;
•maintaining detailed knowledge of the company's products;
•tracking competitors’ activity.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree. Professional sales training courses.
