The Role
To deliver high end information assurance and technical consulting services
ranging from network penetration testing to specialist security consultancy
services. The bulk of work is within the UK, with potential for occasional
travel in
and outside the EU.
The role is highly varied and is a unique opportunity for someone looking to
expand upon their breadth of experience within an information assurance skill
set. Additionally, the ideal applicant will be expected to assist in the
development
of methodologies, tools and techniques as well as provide scoping support to the
sales team.
This role would be ideally suited to someone that would be prepared to sit the
CESG CHECK Scheme Assault Course (or an equivalent) in roughly one year from
employment start date.
Skill Sets Required:
Commercial:
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Team orientated
• Prior engagement scoping experience
Technical:
• Prior experience of working in a technical consulting or penetration
testing
team
• Ability to rapidly assimilate technologies and information
• Comfortable in at least one programming language
• Linux/Unix and Windows security toolset experience
• Understanding of core infrastructure, application and information
security
principles and practices
• Ability to conduct research and to work under own initiative
The successful applicant will hold current UK Citizenship and ideal hold
current UK
Security clearances to the required level or will be prepared to undergo UK
security clearances and HMG vetting procedures to the required level.
The role is based at the Basingstoke office, but there may be some flexibility
for
the right candidate.
