Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-05-15
Our client, a leading NYC based Bank, has an immediate openign for a Data
Security Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of
enterprise-wide information security strategy including related programs,
processes and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Consults on the development, implementation and enforcement of corporate-wide
Information Security policies, procedures and standards.
* Consults with the business and operational infrastructure personnel regarding
new and existing technologies and appropriate security architectures, practices
and procedures.
* Interface with various internal and external clients, and audit agencies, to
establish communication, cooperation and compliance of information security
standards and requirements.
* Provides Senior Management reporting as to the effectiveness of security
controls and conditions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Business Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of information security or related technology experience
required.
* Experience with the Archer tool set and/or Archer Certification a plus.
* Must understand principal information risks and business functionality and
process and have a strong technical understanding of both application
development & technology infrastructure.
* Must be a sound decision maker who thinks logically and makes appropriate
recommendations to management.
* Must also have strong oral and written communication skills and be
comfortable making presentations to senior management.
* Must be an experienced decision maker with the demonstrated ability to easily
influence people at all levels within the organization.
* Must have a working knowledge of security systems and applications, network
topology, network/infrastructure security, or security assessments of networks.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
* B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience required
* CISSP or CISA Certifications is a plus
