The Role
This position will report into the EMEA Information Security Manager, based in
London. The role will primarily focus on the Business Information Risk program
run by the respective global manager in New York, with secondary focus on the
Application and Infrastructure Risk programs. The candidate will work with
local and global team members on the execution of programs in the following
spaces: Service Provider Risk, Privilege Management, Privacy, and Secure
Collaborations. The candidate will conduct risk assessments of information
systems, communicating identified risks to Technology and Business managers,
and maintaining risk dashboards for the EMEA Technology and Business teams.
SKILL / EXPERIENCE
MANDATORY
 Technology or information risk management experience in
financial services
 Five to ten years experience in information security or related
fields, with experience of risk analysis techniques and risk management in
preference to specific technical skills.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Strong interpersonal and presentation skills essential: role
requires frequent interaction with Chief Information Security Officer, vice
presidents, and managing directors of the Bank and other financial firms
 Must be able to manage both time and work load without constant
supervision
 Familiar with Risk Analysis and Risk Management techniques and
methodologies
PREFERRED
 Understanding of the security implications of the major privacy
regulations
 Understanding of other related regulations (e.g. SOX)
 Understanding of the processes and systems typical to one or
more of the following: Trading, Wealth Management, Investment Banking,
Operations, Research.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or other professional qualifications.
