Position: Software Engineer
Location: St. Paul, , United States

<P>The software engineer will be responsible for resolving customer issues on
the Sidewinder Firewall. This includes researching issues, troubleshooting
defects, developing fixes, testing fixes, and keeping current with new
features. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge
technology and information security.</P>
JOB REQUIREMENTS

<P><STRONG>Required Skills</STRONG></P>
<UL>
<LI>BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering</LI>
<LI>C/C++ programming in a UNIX environment</LI>
<LI>Experience in network programming</LI>
<LI>Familiarity with internet protocols</LI>
<LI>Experience with Perl, Python or shell scripting languages</LI>
<LI>Excellent communication, team-work and problem solving skills</LI></UL>
<P><STRONG>Preferred Skills & Experience</STRONG></P>
<UL>
<LI>Programming in a FreeBSD environment, kernel programming</LI>
<LI>Database programming experience</LI>
<LI>Exposure to firewall development or interest in Internet security</LI>
<LI>Experience with network configuration and administration</LI></UL>
