Job Description
SecurityRecruiter.com has been engaged to identify an Application Security
Engineer to provide information security consultation for application
development projects and other related information security projects.
You’ll provide security methodology for Service Orientation Application
(SOA) implementation in a high-volume n-tier high availability environment.
This engineer is responsible for security evaluation, testing, design and
implementation of company information systems and technology. Security
engineering projects include: Web Services Infrastructure and Web Access
Control, WS-Security, Customer-facing portals, Application server platforms
(WebLogic, JRUN and ColdFusion), Active Directory and LDSP servers and proxies,
Database structures, accounts and grants, JAVA, EJB, JSP, Servlets, XML, UDDI
structures, Identity Management and Netegrity and WebLogic implementation, Web
service enabling of mainframe systems, Database and Application level
encryption, XP-SP2 fi
rewall deployment using AD Group Policy Objects. You’ll provide subject
matter expertise, security engineering, security policy and procedure creation,
etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requires a BA/BS with 5 years experience overall and 3 or more years experience
working with application security engineering projects. Certifications should
include: CISSP, Web Logic BEA-CA, Web CPW, MCSE Security. Exposure to SCADA is
appreciated. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of secure software
development and how it applies to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Candidate’s technical skills must include many of the following skills:
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), web services, SOAP, XML Encryption, XML
Key Management, XML Signature, UDDI, SAML, WS-Security, Oracle, DB2, PKI,
Certificates, Application and Database level Encryption, JAVA, .NET, EJB, JSP,
Servlets, ColdFusion, ASP, PERL, C, C++, Identity Management, WebLogic, JRUN,
Application Firewalls, XML Gateways, Cisco Content Switch and SCA. Must be
experienced with software code reviews using automated vulnerability testing
tools and manual code review techniques. Will demonstrate industry bes
t practices and generally accepted information security principles.
