The Role
The role involves running structured security tests (both automated and manual)
against Internet-facing systems and applications, analysing the results,
writing reports which detail the findings and providing recommendations for
improved security.
Key Competencies
Application programming skills, preferably in the web application arena.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
Report writing skills
Good knowledge of IP networking protocols
Some experience with security testing of web-based applications (desirable but
not essential)
Current UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
Additional Benefits

Other info
May suit MSc Information Security graduate, who is enthusiastic and interested
in penetration testing.
The ideal candidate may also have spent at least a year in an IT networking
environment and have experience of network management tools or application
testing tools.
