Train and coordinate junior security practice staff in DRP/BCP activities supporting government and commercial customer task orders. This position works from the Newberry Corporate office in St. Charles, MO. Position Responsibilities: Design, development, integration, testing and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Manage the administration, maintenance, development and implementation of corporate-wide contingency planning policies and procedures. Participate in business continuity practices for clients such as risk assessment and strategy development. Participate in sales and marketing events promoting the business continuity practice. Perform assessments of potential business impact. Recommend recovery strategies and options, and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions. Coordinate the design, development, maintenance, and exercising (testing) of the overall disaster recovery plans. Must be able to travel or work extended hours as required in the event a recovery plan is triggered or during regularly scheduled tests. Must be able to work with varying levels of associates and outside parties, including senior management, technical experts, vendors and government officials, as required. Experience Requirements: • Four to six years direct experience developing, implementing, testing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity planning. • A thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies as well as the methods used in performing risk analyses and business impact analyses. • Five years working knowledge of Information Systems technology to assist in the preparation of recovery procedures in this area. • Experience with Strohl Systems Software (specifically LDRPS) is a plus. Skill Requirements: • Solid analytical, organizational and decision-making skills. • Strong verbal and written communications. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with clients, users, senior level management, peers and vendors. • Strong project management and administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates. • Must be a self-motivated leader and a productive team player. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time • Ability to qualify for a government security clearance Education: • Bachelor s degree in business or computer science is preferred. • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or a willingness to obtain such certification is preferred. Other certifications in related disciplines are a plus.
