Position: Software Engineer
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-04-03
The Software Engineer is responsible for the hands on coding and development of
security software which will include design, implementation, and defect
resolution of new and existing product code. This is an excellent opportunity
to work with cutting-edge technology and information security on the most
comprehensive security gateway appliance in the world.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree.
TCP/IP Networking familiarity and some database knowledge is a must.
Experience with C, C++, Python and/or Perl programming languages required.
Excellent communication, team-work and problem solving skills are required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with FreeBSD, Linux, coding on UNIX.
Exposure to routing and/or firewall development and interest in security.
Experience with network configuration and administration.
