Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Foxborough, Massachusetts, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-03-28
We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to create cyber
security signature industry standards and protocols for global use. This is a
unique opportunity to advance the state of the art in protecting industrial
systems with a leader in the field of cyber security for critical
infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Create rules and configurations, correlation engine and network data
gathering agents for intrusion detection and security event management systems.
• Document guidelines, index and prepare manuals on new product
signatures, industry rules and best practices for internal and external use.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
• Prior experience as a network, firewall or security administrator.
• Experience with log analysis, and designing, deploying or managing
configurations for intrusion detection or event management systems.
• Scripting experience, ideally with Perl or Bash.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in
a small team environment, including remote sales staff.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally.
