Position: VP, Information Security
Location: Morris Plains, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-03-24
I have the following permanent opening for a VP of Information Security.
You will be required to coordinate, Plan and implement security measures to
regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification,
destruction, or disclosure of information in information systems. The
successful candidate will be a senior contributor to the Global Information
Security Office and the projects it is involved in. You must have strong
leadership skills.
Information Security duties include:
Data Ownership and Protection
Coordination of Incident Management Response
Coordination of vendor due diligence investigation
Coordination of Awareness Training for customers, Technical personnel and
corporatepersonnel.
Coordination of third-party certification
Coordination of perimeter security testing and remediation of issues that arise
from testing
Participating in Information Security committees and working groups
Addressing audit issues

The salary is up to 135K plus discretionary/non-guaranteed performance based
bonus of 0-40%

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required:
Strong leadership skills.
10+ years enterprise security experience
3+ years enterprise security management
Working knowledge of multiple platform security tool sets - Mainframe, Unix and
NT
Working knowledge of ISO17799
Participation in internal and external audits
BS/BA and MS/MA in related field
CISSP, CISM, CISA certification
