Position: Security Consultant
Location: Copenhagen, , Denmark

FortConsult is looking to recruit four new senior IT security consultants who
have experience in performing penetration tests, and who have a burning desire
to become part of Scandinavian’s biggest and most experienced team of
security testers.
Along with the rest of the team, you will on a daily basis be given the
opportunity to attempt to break through the security mechanisms in some of
Denmark’s biggest and most security-oriented enterprises, including a
number of financial enterprises and banks both in Denmark and the rest of
Europe.
Your work will be supported by our research department, the best tools
available on the market today and our own unique attack methods. In addition,
you will have the freedom to use your own creativity to find new
vulnerabilities or new ways in which to carry out an attack.
The job as senior IT security consultant
As a senior IT security consultant you will primarily be working with
penetration tests of our customers’ IT systems. Your focus will be on the
manual and creative part of the test process, as we use automated test tools
for the more trivial parts of the task.
We will as far as possible match the content of the job to your profile and the
areas in which you wish to work.
Your primary tasks:
Security assessment of our customers’ Internet systems, DMZ systems,
internal servers and clients, wireless networks and web applications. Each
security assessment is different and is compiled on the basis of the needs of
our customers and our own test methodologies, which consist of tests using a
number of automatic tools, in-depth manual tests and analyses, DoS attacks and
tests with insider knowledge.
Drawing up of structured reports that document the test results.
Presentation of the reports to our customers – to both management and
technicians.
Unbaised security consultancy services and security review of our
customers’ IT solutions with the drawing up of concluding reports that are
presented to the customer.
PCI security audits of customers’ financial systems in accordance with the
PCI standard, which is defined by the credit card companies.
Keeping yourself 100 percent up-to-date with developments on the IT security
front and disseminating your knowledge and experience to your colleagues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We attach importance to our new senior IT security consultants having several
years of experience in performing penetration tests, preferably supplemented
with a broad range of experience within the IT security field in general.
We expect that you are an expert within technical IT security where your
knowledge may, for example, have been acquired from positions as a security
consultant or as the employee responsible for the company network. In addition,
we see it is as a benefit if you are certified as CISSP, SANS or have a
corresponding IT security qualification at a similar – or higher –
level.
You should be able to recognise yourself in the following list of
