Position: Security Engineer
Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-03-11
**This role requires Australian Citizenship as a Security Clearance is
required.**
Cybertrust is at the forefront of Global IT Security. We are looking for a
person to work within the Operations team as an IDS Engineer.
The role is responsible for monitoring, investigating and management of remote
customer devices and responding to intrusion and availability alerts
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required Skills
· Two to Four years experience systems administration experience in an
IT environment, preferably with a focus on IT Security.
·Awareness of a range security products and technologies including at
least one of the following areas: networking, perimeter security, IDS and IPS,
Identity Management and Forensics.
·Technical expertise with at least one of the following operating
systems: Solaris, Linux, Windows and IOS.
· Highly regarded experience and certifications include:
Experience with tools such as:
- Sniffer, GFI Languard & TCP Dump
- SANS Certification (GCIA)
- SCNP Certification Exposure and knowledge of:
- ISS RealSecure
- McAfee Intrushield
- Snort
