Job description:
Senior Systems Integration Engineer
This Central New Jersey based company, which provides end-to-end, turnkey
solutions for the Defense and Homeland Security markets, seeks a Senior Systems
Integration Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in integrating
large complex systems, end-to-end, including the growth, integration and
isolation of subsets of the system, with extensive experience in implementing
and configuring system performance parameters, system-wide parameters, and
crash and recovery system requirements, and preferably with some background,
experience, and knowledge in systems integration and administration scripting
development and implementation.
Has worked closely with Systems Engineering and Software Development in the
full-scale integration of hardware, software, and the setup of complex
networked systems to grow and sanity test large scaled systems.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
** Ability to analyze sanity test results and determine system failure and root
causes, and isolate faults.
** Experience with GSR systems integration and sanity testing.
** Experience with RF communications integration and sanity testing.
** Experience with video cameras systems integration and sanity testing. A
video motion detection testing background is a plus.
** Hands-on hardware configuration, setup, integration and sanity testing
experience including troubleshooting skills.
** Knowledge in network topologies, configuration, and integration, with
network loading and traffic generation implementation and sanity testing.
** Experience with systems integration end-to-end sanity testing including
installation, system-wide parameters setup validation, adversarial, and sanity
testing.
** Experience in performing comprehensive system level environmental tests.
** Experience in system administration in both Windows and Unix environments.
** Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in
a fast paced environment.
** Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging, and growing environment to
integrate systems and implement quick-turn-around sanity testing strategies.
** Ability to work under strict time frames to meet both internal and external
deadlines and customer expectations.
** Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
** Ability to manage own work and balancing between multiple projects.
** Ability to adapt quickly to new processes.
** Strong written and oral communication skills.
** Able and willingness to work extended hours if required.
** Ability to lead system integration and sanity testing by example and work
well within a diversified team.
** Excellent work ethics with a high energy level.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
** BSEE required, MSEE is a plus
** IEEE 829, ISO 9001 desired
Experience:
** Minimum 5-10 years experience in the integration of large systems
** DOD background is highly desirable
** Experience with DHS is a plus
Skills / Aptitudes:
** Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
