Job description:
Field Integration Engineer
The Field Integration Engineer will provide field integration and deployment
function for a Homeland Security Company.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Hands-on involvement in all aspects of field activities including installation,
configuration, training and troubleshooting; developing field test and customer
acceptance test plans, supporting the execution of field tests. Develop and
execute acceptance test plans with the customer.
In addition, the individual will support the Integration & Test team when not
in the field. In this role, the responsibilities include developing test cases
and executing tests during System Integration and Test.
Support the preparation of schedules, cost estimating, and budgets.
Strong background in system integration and deployment, required.
Must possess strong leadership qualities and excellent verbal and written
communications.
Must be able to work with Union Workforces during the deployment activities.
Support Business Development and other Pre-Sales activities, as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
** BS required, MS desired
** IEEE 829, ISO 9001 desired
Experience:
** Minimum 7-10 years experience with integration and test of large systems,
required
** Experience with DHS or DOD projects, highly desirable
** Experience with Integrated Product Teams, desired
** Experience with cameras, video analytics (video motion & non-motion
detection), Ground Surveillance Radar or other physical intrusion technologies
a plus
Skills / Aptitudes:
** Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
WORKING CONDITIONS
** May be required to travel domestically or internationally to support
customer activities.
