Position: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-03-13
The Network Security Division is looking for a self-motivated senior software
engineer to work on the Sidewinder G2 Firewall development team. Qualified
individuals will have the opportunity to work in a casual, fun and rewarding
environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
C/C++ programming in UNIX environment
Experience in network programming
Familiarity with internet protocols
Experience with Perl, Python or shell scripting languages
Excellent communication, team-work and problem solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced commercial software development
environment
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
Object oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP)
UML
Programming in a FreeBSD environment
Kernel programming
