VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT
The primary functions of the Vulnerability Management Lead is to manage the
day-today operations of the Vulnerability Management Team, ensure scheduled
activities and reports are completed, and ensure all team members are trained
and capable of performing required services.
The purpose of the Vulnerability Management Team is to scan internal and client
devices and Systems for vulnerabilities. Specifically the Vulnerability
Management Team will:
• Manage scheduling of scans to be performed.
• Coordinate schedule changes with system owners.
• Perform scans in accordance with assigned schedules.
• Aggregate and correlate identified vulnerabilities into useable
structures.
• Develop Findings Reports of device scans for delivery to the client.
• Collaborate with SOC Engineering personnel and System Owners on
mitigation of vulnerabilities identified.
• Integrate vulnerability and inventory findings into the SOC floor
operational procedures.
• Integrate vulnerability and inventory findings into the SOC SEM
technologies.
• Produce service trending and performance reports for SOC management.
The daily responsibilities of the Vulnerability Management Lead are as follows:
• Manage team personnel schedules and assigned responsibilities ensuring
objectives and service delivery requirements are met.
• Coordinate schedule changes with System Owners and Vulnerability
Management team members.
• Train and mentor all Vulnerability Management team members on the
technologies and procedures used to deliver services.
• Produce operational Runbooks for each service delivered by the team to
ensure consistency and quality.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree with 8 years experience in relevant technologies and security
services.
Experience with Foundstone, Nessus, and ISS vulnerability scanning
technologies.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience interfacing with customers on both a technical and managerial level.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate. 1099 only. This is a full-time
contract.
