Senior Security Engineer
The Prometheus Group seeks a Senior Security Engineer to work in our
Chantilly, Virginia offices.
The Prometheus Group specializes in Network Security Consulting and
Information Technology Services. Our senior engineers have worked at
the Wheel Group, Cisco, the White House, the SEC, the World Bank and the
Department of Defense, Department of the Interior, and have an average
of 10 years of professional technical experience in Information Security.
They are of the highest quality and caliber, and we strive for technical
excellence, offering our customers innovative and cost-efficient
solutions to their IT and Security needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:
* An EXTREMELY intimate working knowledge of Microsoft products
* At least 5 years of *NIX/Solaris experience in a production
environment
* Semi-fluent in at least one scripting language and one programming
language
* Have expert knowledge in ANY TWO of the following:
- Firewalls
- Intrusion Detection technologies
- Vulnerability Testing
- Security Policies and Regulations
- Enterprise Architecture Design
Things that are nice, but not required:
- Hacking skills
- Security clearances
- Technomania
- Reverse Engineering skills
Applicants must also have very strong customer service skills, VERY
strong teamwork skills, LOTS of initiative and be ready and willing to
learn new technologies and take on multiple roles at any time.
