This will include staff investigations and eDiscovery activities. This role will support internal and external security and fraud investigations and providing statistical reports and analysis. The consultant will perform automated and manual checks using the forensic analysis tools and works with various internal and external organizations to detect and prevent fraud losses. It also requires the ability to effectively respond to security incidents and anomalies. Additionally, the consultant will provide support for security incident response services, including participating in the cross-functional incident response team (SIRT) and handling those security events whose threat level doesn’t warrant the mobilization of the SIRT. This support also includes providing timely response to urgent staff termination actions. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Required Qualifications/Skills: 3+ years previous experience with threat analysis, forensics and incident investigations. Technical expertise with various systems, data storage technologies, encryption techniques, and log analysis. Expertise with Unix and Microsoft Operating Systems. Strong background in forensic analysis, fraud detection and fraud prevention. Strong knowledge of best practices in investigations, evidence handling, chain of custody, data mining, and evidence preservation. Strong knowledge of forensic tools such as EnCase software. Previous consulting experience. Good communication and technical writing skills.
