Position: Software Engineer

Authentium is a leading developer of security software-as-a-service (SAAS)
technologies and systems. Security software-as-a-service is emerging as one of
the fastest growing sectors in an exploding market. Our software enables ISPs,
banks, carriers and portal operators to offer state of the art security
software under their own brands.
We currently have an open position in our Palm Beach Gardens office for a full
time Anti-Virus Developer/Software Engineer. This position reports to the
Manager of AV Development. This individual will be responsible for maintaining
and enhancing our existing antivirus application and SDK.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:
• Primary responsibility is focused on development work related to
antivirus SDK. This involves everything from minor code, changes to design of
new modules, including writing code, debugging, testing and documentation.
• Ability to develop written design specifications from project
management input and interviews with key team members and customers.
• To maintain, analyze, design, program, debug and modify specific parts
of our Security Software systems. Work according to the practices set out in
the Product Development processes and framework.
• Write, code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of
applications.
• Complete documentation and give input to improve procedures for
installation, development and maintenance processes.
Skills/Education:
• Language: C/C++
• Tools: Visual Studio 2005
• Programming in C/C++ using Windows API
• COM programming with Visual Studio C++ (attributed COM)
• ATL
• Basics of multithreaded apps
• Additional skills (preferred):
• Databases: client apps for MSDE, MDAC, AD
• WMI providers
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft System Installer (MSI)
• WTL
• 0-2 years experience required
• BS required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
