Position: Training / Awareness Specialist
Location: San Mateo, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Manager, Educational Services
Fortify Software is seeking an experienced training manager with classroom
instruction, curriculum development and computer based training development
skills to create and execute on Fortify’s strategy for delivering world
class application security training. The position is available in San Mateo,
CA.
Responsibilities:
• Create the Fortify Educational Services vision and strategy
• Develop/implement a curriculum roadmap and course development plan to
effect skill transfer to employees, customers and partners
• Develop a training team of internal resources and partners that
provides excellence in educational design & delivery
• Define and execute on the development of a full computer-based training
curriculum
• Manage the certification of users and partners
• Deliver classes to Fortify internal personnel as well as partners and
end-users
• Extensive travel required, as most training is conducted at the
customer site
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Qualifications:
• 5+ years successful education material design and delivery experience
• 3+ years management responsibility for successful training course
development, documentation & delivery
• Track record for delivering successful learning and knowledge transfer
outcomes
• Demonstrated ability for gaining necessary technical understanding of
key relevant areas including Java/.NET and C/C++ development, build
environments and application security
• Building successful teams across diverse groups including specialist
contractors, subject matter experts, trainers, instructional designers,
partners and customers
• 3+ years experience in the area of real world software development and
build environments; Java/J2EE, MS .NET, Unix C/C++
• Experience in the Enterprise Security space, especially application
security is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to succeed in a team - based environment
• Multi-platform experience strongly desired
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree from a top University
