Business Professional to perform accounting functions such as maintaining
general-ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, evaluate and enhance
accounting and internal control systems.
Essential Functions:
1. Perform day-to-day accounting functions and provide analysis to the numbers
as well as maintain improved oversight on the financials
2. Maintains fixed assets records
3. Prepares Personal Property taxes from various local jurisdictions
4. Account Reconciliations / Cash Accounting / Coding and Classification
5. Batch review and posting of A/P and A/R workflow and be available for
questions and mentoring
6. Financial Statement preparation
7. Manual Journal Entries
8. VSOE analysis and calculations
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Undertake specifically assigned projects
2. Perform other tasks as may be assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
1. Minimum of a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Currently is a Senior Accountant with minimum 5 years overall experience (at
least 2 as a Senior)
3. Excellent analytical and accounting skills; brings outside the box creative
ideas and analysis
4. Solid knowledge of GAAP principles
5. Knowledge of Statement of Position (SOP) 97-2, Software Revenue Recognition
6. Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills
7. Very Strong Excel skills
8. Knowledge of a range of automated financial systems and application software
9. Proficient in the use of MAS500, Oracle and SalesLogix a plus
10. Strong financial reporting experience
11. Intermediate and advanced capabilities in spreadsheets and G/L packages
12. Experience with detailed inter-company transactions
