IT Security Specialist (NIST Guidelines)

We are currently seeking two IT Specialists. One Sr. with nine (9) years of
substantive IT knowledge and one mid with six (6) years experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:
Broad experience with NIST C&A, SSPs, RAs authorship. DITSCAP experience is a
plus but is not a substitute for NIST. Should be able to work independently
with only some guidance and as part of a team. Must be able to write controls
based on NIST SP 800-53 and identify risks based on 800-53A and 800-30. Can
handle a fast pace. I see some greater technical work here in the future, so a
real plus would be ability to plan and perform TVAs, review technical
configurations against hardening guidelines, develop hardening guidelines,
review security architecture, and use scanning tools. Analytical experience.
Must be able to start ASAP, since we have a fast paced task that is already
underway.
