Position: Jr. Security Analyst
Location: London, , United Kingdom
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2008-02-28
To be a member of the team that deliver a Managed Intrusion Detection Service
supporting a major client. The role is focused on delivering security assurance
though the use of IDS and other 3rd Party security tools. Other areas of work
include auditing firewalls and conducting Vulnerability Assessments.
Technology Areas include
Intrusion Detection/Prevention
Firewalls
Vulnerability scanning
Technical Skills required:
Mandatory:
• Knowledge & experience in IT Network Security
• IP Networking
• Experience of Intrusion Detection systems
• Unix & Windows Administration
• Firewall Management
• Vulnerability Awareness / Understanding.
Desirable:
• Experience in implementing / developing security policies
• HMG Security Standards and Processes
Working Pattern
Core hours are 9am to 5:30pm but 24 x 7 service is provided via “Committed
Cover”, On-call and early / late shifts.
The successful applicant will be subject to Government security clearance
vetting
