Position: Security Researcher
Location: San Jose, California, United States

Our client, one of the more compelling network security companies to come along
in the last 3-4 years, is looking for Security Researchers.
We're looking for people with just a few years of experience with or without an
advanced degree, but you do have to know how to write, manipulate and engineer
code.
Our client has designed a new network product to protect against Web2.0
technologies that evade traditional firewalls.
This is one of the truly unique products on the market.
Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for Internet application protocol research,
vulnerability research, writing protocol decoders, threat signatures, tools to
help to deliver the best quality security content for the company's product.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Solid programming skills and an in depth understanding of TCP/IP
networking and layer 7 protocols.
* Hands-on experience with protocol decoding/implementation.
* Good knowledge of contemporary security concepts and problems.
* Good communication skills & team-spirit.
* Willing to take initiatives and get things done independently.
