Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Saint Charles, Missouri, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-02-22
Function in the Security Practice: Support commercial and government customer
task orders for security services.
This position works from the Newberry Corporate office in St. Charles, MO.
Responsibilities:
Perform security services in one or more of the specialized security areas,
risk analysis, vulnerability identification, disaster recovery, penetration
testing, certification/accreditation and producing finished documentation;
e.g., reports, special studies, policy and procedure development, security
designs, and assessments. Provide analytical, research and technical support to
projects, producing solutions and documentation. Develop and monitor project
tasks and schedules.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required General Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
technical/non-technical communication, documentation and presentations
• Strong planning, organization and time management skills with the
ability to handle multiple projects without direct supervision
• Ability to work independently, follow a work plan, meet project
milestones, and interact with various levels of management
• Energetic team player with strong initiative, team orientation, and
excellent problem solving skills
Required Technical Skills:
• Two years Security Specialist experience to include security design,
architecture, risk/vulnerability assessment, and disaster recovery plan
development
• Knowledge and experience working with network hardware to include:
firewalls, routers, switches, hubs, intrusion detection/prevention technologies
(concurrent experience with Security Specialist duties is acceptable)
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in wireless technologies,
platform security technologies and practices
Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Security, networking certifications a plus, but not required
Travel: Up to 20%
